Me Heartie Yo Ho

Yeah! I´m paperscrapping again and proud to post my forst layout.
It was fun!!
Last week I spent quite some time (and a small fortune as well) in getting me new scrap equipment. Gosh, it was soo fun but unfortunately I´m broke ´til next payday.
Here is just a little of the stash I bought.....
(btw I bought a second hand QK Squeeze with some dies and the Moxie alpha following
along and I´m totally happy with it).

And here´s my first layout. It´s a picture I scrapped before. The digital way. Now it´s all paper and it is doing sooo good in the album :)
At first I was a little scared to tear the paper and the picture as well. I figured the worst I could do was spoil it totally and then all I had to do was print it out once more. So... nothing to lose.
I like how it turned out though it is obvious I´m a newbe :)

Hiking on Whitsun Sunday

It´s already almost two weeks ago but when I transferred some pictures from my camera to the mac I saw these.
The pictures are from a hiking trip in the surroundings here where I live. It´s a beautifull trip! Not quite easy and almost the whole distance is up-hill.
At the end, at least what we consider as "our" goal, there is a beautifull lake.
Due the distance and the uphill-walking, there are - if any- a very few people there which suit us perfect.

The picture quality was not what I hoped for. Easy solution to that problem.
Ever been on the site of Pioneer Woman? Well, drop by there and let her explain you a few things about photographing, photoshop and LOADS of other things (that means... for the amateurs among us).
I quarantee you, you will love it over at here place.
Anyway.
PW has a couple of Photoshop actions free for you to download.
And exactly those I used on my pictures posted today.
Great isn´t it?

And then, on our way back, all of a sudden there was this little fellow.
He wasn´t that happy to be surprised by us. Angry little bastard.
I didn´t dare to come any closer and no zoom in my bag. This was the best I could do :)

O my!!! And then I almost forgot to post my digiscrap I made yesterday!
This little guy reached the age of 16 last February. Cute? I think so. Well, he still is!
